Sewing for beginners and learners – Wednesday Evenings (630pm to 9pm) – 6th Nov – 11th Dec

We Will Be Running This 6 week Course On A Wednesday Evening (Between 630pm – 9pm) From 6th Nov Until 11th Dec. 

Come along to our studio in Driffield and get to grips with sewing. These sessions are the ideal introduction to sewing. We will cover everything from setting up your machine to learning to create your first few items and the kettle is always close by.

Everything you need to start your sewing journey is provided.

In order to attend this class you need a fully working sewing machine, we can lend you one although it would be better to bring your own sewing machine. If you don’t have your own and would like to consider buying one, we are main dealers for (amongst others) Janome, Necchi, Brother and Bernina sewing machines.

By the end of this 6 week course it is anticipated that you will be able to,

• Set up and confidently use your sewing machine
• Carry out simple trouble shooting and basic maintenance
• Construct a range of stitches and have samples to remind you
• Make your own pin cushion
• Be able to insert a zip
• Fit Buttons and Buttonholes
• Make your own piping
• Understand Bias Binding
• have made you own cushion and
  Be ready to take your next steps in your sewing journey.

The cost of this course is £100 and includes everything you need to get you underway,  unlimited tea and coffee and, quite importantly, Biscuits!

Please be aware that there are stairs upto the studio

Booking terms and conditions – In the event of a cancellation, because sometimes life gets in the way of sewing!

• If KMR have to cancel a class then we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
• If you cancel more than 4 weeks in advance we will offer to move your booking or issue a refund (refunds will be made back via the original payment method)
• If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the start of the class we will only be able to offer a refund if it is possible to fill your space.
• Unfortunately there are no refunds for courses that run over several days where you have attended one (or more of the days)
