You will learn how to create a functional and versatile Roman blind and (subject to a generous maximum size) even be able to make it for your own house – this isn’t one of those online courses that only shows you how to make a small sample blind!!!
This course is limited to a maximum of just 4 people so there is plenty of space to work and loads on tutor time. Everything you need to make your blind is included and any extras (for your next blind) can be purchased on the course from KMR sewing at a discounted price.
This hands-on course is ideal for anyone who would like to level up their game with roman Blinds.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to:
•Measure and calculate fabric and lining requirements
•Prepare and plan your construction
•Construct and line a Roman blind
•Insert rods and create evenly spaced folds
•Attach rings and threading systems correctly
•Achieve a professional-quality finish
Be warned – there is hand sewing on this one, how else would you achieve such a professional finish. There should be no visible stitching on the outside of your blind. By the end of this course you will be shunning commercially produced blinds!
