Photo Reproduction and Soluble Embroidery – Wednesday 18th Nov – 10:00-16:00

Have you ever wanted to be able to reproduce your favorite photograph through the medium of fabric?, if the answer is a resounding yes (or even a ‘no, what on earth are you on about’) then this could be the perfect course for you

we will start the day learning how to reproduce a photograph as a machine embroidered piece of artwork, on a regular sewing machine, all it need to be able to do is straight stitch and then either drop or cover the feed dogs. Its simple and fun (although I must warn you , it can be addictive!) and anyone can create fantastic replications of photo’s. In the class we will all be doing the same picture but, once you have the technique where you go is up to you!!!

After a short lunch (you will need to bring you own, or buy locally) in the private courtyard (weather permitting, classroom if rainy!) we will move onto discover the wonders of water soluble embroidery. we will create and embroider our designs before dissolving them in a water based solution (its just luke warm water!!) and being left with…….

Booking terms and conditions – In the event of a cancellation, because sometimes life gets in the way of sewing!

The course, unless stated otherwise, will be held at the KMR Classroom, above the shop at 20 middle st North, Driffield, YO25 6SW, there is usually plenty of parking nearby.
If KMR have to cancel a class then we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
If you cancel more than 4 weeks in advance we will offer to move your booking or issue a refund (refunds will be made back via the original payment method)
If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the start of the class we will only be able to offer a refund if it is possible to fill your space.
Unfortunately there are no refunds for courses that run over several days where you have attended one (or more of the days)
