Making friends with your overlocker Thursday 24/10/24 1300 – 1700

Description

This is a one day, 4hr, course designed to help you understand the basics of your overlocker, in this course you will:

• Learn what an Overlocker is and why you should use one,
• How to set it up and get going,
• How to change threads,
• Tension and how it works,
• Understand the fundamentals of control and
• How to manage corners and curves.

The session is designed for complete beginners or anyone who’s ever been scared off of using an overlocker. More advanced classes will run later in the year.

In order to attend this course you will need a working overlocker and threads, both are available to purchase in advance from us.

As a huge bonus – anyone booking on this course can save £20 off of the price of ANY overlocker purchased from KMR Sewing – we can have it here and ready for you to learn on AND you can even combine this with trading in your old overlocker or sewing machine!  (if you already have your overlocker you can still benefit from 20% off of any threads bought or ordered on the day.)

Booking terms and conditions – In the event of a cancellation, because sometimes life gets in the way of sewing!

• If KMR have to cancel a class then we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
• If you cancel more than 4 weeks in advance we will offer to move your booking or issue a refund (refunds will be made back via the original payment method)
• If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the start of the class we will only be able to offer a refund if it is possible to fill your space.
• Unfortunately there are no refunds for courses that run over several days where you have attended one (or more of the days)
